POST INSTALLATION - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

 

1. When can I get some help about Word 2007?

There are excellent  free, self-teach, interactive courses provided by Microsoft on a wide variety of  Word topics.

Links are available on the Training page of this website. There is also a tab that can be downloaded into the Word programme to link direct to the training packages. Similar courses exist for Excel 2007 and Outlook 2007.

 

2. I have lost my Internet connection, what do I do?

In the following order:

a.  Check the wireless switch on the laptop is ON (to the right).

b.  Check all five lights  on the router are ON. If the PPP light on the right hand side is off switch off the router for 30 seconds.

c.  Switch the router back on and check all the lights come on.

d. If  the PPP light is still off,  telephone the Nildram Support line on  01296 300400 (24 hrs a day).

 

3. How do I book on a formal training course?

4. I think I have a fault with my laptop, how do I call warranty support?
